Last week saw the first round of the Man on Man tournament commence with sixteen matches being played as we search for the best solo player within our ranks. We saw competitive matches, dominant performances and surprising results with everyone giving it their all to progress one step closer to the final.
Once the dust had settled on the blood stained gutter of Blood Gracht, we had our sixteen victors:
Congratulations to everyone that progressed but the hard work has only begun, the 16 who were victorious will now have their skills and nerves tested if they want that coveted title. The fixtures for the second round are as follow:
Please contact your opponent as soon as you are finished reading this to arrange a time using the PM tool or via PSN. Games for round 2 must be played before midnight on Sunday 17th of January with results emailed to me at colin@thesixthaxis.com. Game setups are found in the forums along with the map for this round.
We can now reveal the prize for the victor, not only will they be named the best solo player within the TheSixthAxis community but will also receive these fantastic prizes from our good friends at Guerilla Games:
Big thanks go to the lovely guys at Guerrilla for providing these awesome prizes and supporting this competition. I’m sure everyone would love the opportunity to beat them at their own game, literally.
I’d like to personally thank everyone that entered and played their game before Sunday’s deadline, making my job much easier. The tournament has already been a success in my eyes by raising interest to a level where there were three TSA Boot Camps this week, an occurrence which is far too rare nowadays. Hopefully this level of interest can be maintained throughout the competition and continue after the winner has been crowned.
Finally, best of luck to those still involved, see you on Helghan.
