7Haiti is in a dire situation right now folks, as I’m sure you’re all aware. As much as everyone at TSA obviously sympathises with those unfortunate enough to be affected by the disaster, we haven’t been in a position to actually do much or talk about it. We’re a games site, not a campaign centre, so as much as we’d like to do something there isn’t always a way we can report things or get involved. Luckily, as is often the case these days, the world of gaming is stepping up and Bungie, the team behind Halo, have taken the initiative.
Play Halo 3 or ODST online today (and adorn yourself with a special heart emblem) and Bungie will donate up to $77,000 to the relief efforts in Haiti. All you have to do is go to the Be a Hero page on Bungie.net and follow the instructions. They are also pledging all their store profits up to the end of February so if you had an eye on something Bungie-related now would be the ideal time.
