Gears Characters To Appear In Lost Planet 2

13Reported by Kotaku, Gears of War characters Marcus Fenix and Dominic Santiago will appear in Capcom’s Lost Planet 2. The reveal occurred when Epic’s characters were spotted in a trailer for the upcoming futuristic sequel held at an Xbox Japan Capcom event.
Kotaku believes the characters are available as exclusive Xbox 360 downloadable content and hence will not appear in the PS3 version of the game. Which would have been weird. Like watching Drake pop up in Alan Wake and offer the oft delayed chap a big high five or something.
The characters are also not expected to be available in the game’s story mode, though this is unconfirmed at this time.
Of course, this is not the first instance of foreign game characters crashing the Lost Planet 2 party. News broke late last year that pre-orderers of the game in the US will be treated with the exclusive skin of Resident Evil’s Albert Wesker to unlock. Obviously he no longer has much use for it.
Lost Planet 2 arrives in Europe this May.
