Apple iTablet News Today

It's going to be announced today, you know?

The internet is poised to see just what Apple’s got in store for everyone later today over in the States.  Amongst potentially new iPhone software and a few other treats, the highlight is highly likely to be some kind of tablet device, presumably dubbed iTab, or iTablet, or, well, isomething.

This guy (the founder of several blogs, including Engadget) appears to have had said tablet for 10 days now, and can’t stop praising it.  “The price will be [$] 599, 699 and 799 depending on [the] size and memory in [the] Apple tablet,” he said. “Also, [there's a] wireless keyboard + monitor connection for [a] TV.”

It looks like they’ve fixed my major bugbear with the iPhone, too – the OLED screened tablet has the “ability to have multiple apps running at same time.”

He says the battery life is around 2-3 hours when hammering the wifi (or playing games), has thumbpads on each side for mouse gestures, reads fingerprints for security, has two cameras and is potentially amazing for gaming.  We don’t know what Sony and Microsoft are brewing, but this sounds utterly fabulous, and I can’t wait to see what happens later today.  Credit card at the ready!
