16A week ago I brought you news that the Beeb was about to enter the gaming arena once more and a quick read through the comments reveals the one title you want: Doctor Who. Just for once the BBC has its finger on the pulse and MCV is reporting an ‘array’ of Doctor Who games on the way.
“We’re having a lot of interesting discussions for a variety of ideas around Doctor Who that are complementary to each rather than in competition with each other – boxed product console games, virtual worlds and other experiences,” explained Dave Anderson, head of multimedia development at BBC Worldwide.
‘Boxed console products’ sounds good, as does the Doctor Who ‘virtual world’. A Tardis and Timelord MMO perhaps?
