Killzone 2 Man on Man Tournament – The Final

Four weeks ago 31 battle hardened warriors (and nofi) entered the Killzone 2 Man on Man tournament in the hope that they would be crowned the best solo player within TheSixthAxis community and claim these fantastic prizes from our friends at Guerrilla Games. After four hard fought rounds thirty have fallen leaving us with the final two competitors.

Here is how the penultimate round ended:

• Colinbarr66 3-3 maneorix        (Colinbarr66 progresses on points)
• Spooferbarnabas 4-3 OODazza

Congratulations to Spooferbarnabas and big commiserations to the other semi-finalists who put up one hell of a fight. Both matches could have gone either way and both OODazza and Maneorix would have been worthy winners.

So here is how the final two matches in our Man on Man tournament will line up:

Final

• Colinbarr66 – Spooferbarnabas      To be played on Saturday 6th February at 8PM GMT

3rd Place play-off

• Maneorix – OODazza                           To be played on Friday 5th February at 8PM GMT

Spectators have been enabled for both matches, everyone is welcome to come along and show their support. They will no doubt be very entertaining, tense encounters however can I please ask that participants and spectators do not publicly reveal the result of the matches before they have been officially announced on TSA next Monday. Game setups are found in the forums with the map for this round.

All TSA members are also invited to the weekly TSA Boot Camp from 7PM GMT, the practice will come in handy very soon.

Finally best of luck to maneorix and OODazza in their battle for 3rd place and to Spoofer, I look forward to a very difficult battle. May the best man win.
