Metro 2033 Will Feature Russian Voice-work

Responding to fan requests, 4A Games’ subterranean post-apocalyptic survival adventure Metro 2033 can be played with native Russian dialogue. For those of us who are ignorant of the Motherland’s tongue but like the Slavic timber, English subtitles are provided.

The news came in form of a tweet from the official Metro2033 account:

You asked for it, we made it happen – Metro 2033 will also feature a Russian voice option, with subtitles, for maximum Russian-ness!

As someone who always opts to play games in their native language for added immersion, this is a welcome addition. You can still play the game in English if you want, of course. Doing so does cause the death of a Russian kitten, however. You sick, heartless bastard.
