Just Cause 2 Freedom and Chaos
Just Cause 2 continues to look bonkers.Published 06/02/2010 at 14:00 by colossalblue
The more I see of Just Cause 2 the more I’m convinced that it fell out of a nutter’s imagination. It looks completely mental and completely brilliant at the same time, look out for the brief scene in this video where the protagonist shoots a hole in a gas canister and then hitches a lift as it rockets into the sky. Brilliant!

Thats what I’ve been thinking, its almost like they read everything that about Mercs 2 and decided “that sounds like a good idea, we’ll make it!”

Just Cause 1 was in stores way way before Mercs 1. It’s just that Mercs 2 was out a year or so after Mercs 1. Just Cause 2 was supposed to be out at the same time as Mercs 2, but it was pushed back, delayed then delayed again, until this latest expected release of 26.03.10 . Nice History lesson there :-}

actually Mercs 1 came first. early 2005. Just Cause 1 was 2006.

mmmm, flying with propane tanks. wouldn’t it be fun if the propane tank would come really close to a plane and we could jump from the propane tank to the plane.

Only structures that are part of the plot line won’t be destroyed.
@DrCD1 you can attach enemies to the propane then set them off like rockets!

Hopefully this will offer more of a challenge compared to Mercenaries 2, where you were invulnerable to regular enemy fire. Jumping off of a helicopter wasn’t lethal either.

oooh yummy – that looks really sweet! But so did the first one and then it wasn’t as much fun as it looked like. Let’s hope that this one will be better. This time I’ll wait for reviews though before I buy it.
