Finally our search for the best solo player within TheSixthAxis has concluded. Thirty-two participants entered optimistic that they would be victorious; thirty-one of them fell as one person battled their way to victory. Both the final and 3rd place play-off were two of the tightest matches imaginable.
Here is how everything finished:

Congratulations firstly to maneorix for winning in an extremely close fight and to Spooferbarnabas, that was one of the toughest games I’ve ever played in. In the end the best man won and you certainly deserve the title of best player within our ranks and some fantastic prizes from Guerrilla Games.
For the first time, here’s the prizes (and Nofi’s fat little thumb):
Big thanks go to Guerrilla Games for supporting the competition by providing some excellent prizes and to all the participants for making this tournament a success. I’m extremely pleased how smoothly the competition has run and the positive reaction it has received, we will definitely be returning to Helghan very soon.

I was spectating the final and it was a very, very close match. Could have gone either way right up until the end.

Firstly congratulations to Spoofs for winning a very tight match! I was the replay on Killzone.com as I couldn’t make the final. I was that it went down to the wire where it was 3-3. The round final round being Search and Retrieve where it also went to 2-2. So tight? I think so!
My 3rd place finish was even tighter than my semi-final with Colin, which also finished 3-3.. A game seperated by only 5 points, too close for my liking!
