7Tim Jones, Rebellion’s Head of Art and Design has confirmed that the Special Edition content for Aliens vs Predator will be available to everyone “soon after release” via DLC.
The maps and modes, which were previously thought to only be included in the Special Editions, will be openly available, although presumably at a cost. Further DLC will follow “post-launch”.
“The special editions provide that something special,” said Jones. “And I think the pre-order numbers we’re seeing demonstrate just how eager people are to get their hands on this game.”
The game is out next Friday.
