Sonic 4 Coming To Disc Or iPhone?

By now you should now that there’s a new Sonic game coming. You should also know that it’s in HD, is an official fully-fledged Sonic game (not one of those useless tie-ins featuring badgers with two heads or whatever) and will be released episodically through the medium of digital distribution. But could a disc-based version also be on the gold ring-filled horizon?

The rumour of a retail version comes from speedy hedgehog fans interpreting the game’s listing on the official site. After its digital listing, there’s another entry (Sonic 4 again) but this time with the release date of TBC.

Either it’s also coming to disc in some sort of bumper bundle (or, and how cool would this be, the Mega Drive!), or this is just the apparently confirmed iPhone listing.

The question is: what would people prefer? All of the new Sonic episodes on a nice shiny disc? Or the opportunity to catapult the little spiky-haired rascal around on their iPhones?
