PS3 to lose “Other OS” option?

60File this strictly under ‘rumours’ but due to hacker George Hotz, Sony may be about to remove the “Other OS” option on the older model of playstations. BangBangTech reports a rumour from Owen Stampflee, a Linux Product Manager at Fixstars Corporation (no, me neither).
“Everyone, I’ve caught a rumor from a reputable source that the next firmware update for old PS3s will remove the OtherOS feature…I’m not sure if it’s true or not but it’s in the best interest of the YDL community to spread the word.”
As I said, file strictly under rumours for the moment.
