Split/Second Is Modern Warfare 2 Of Racers

24Black Rock’s Jason Reid has told CVG that Split/Second is as big as Modern Warfare 2 and Uncharted 2 in terms of ambition.
The developer talking in terms of the sheer scale of the game, its impressive set pieces and non stop action said,
It’s a tough one. [Activision's] Blur is obviously competition - it’s racing and it’s doing things slightly different as well. But we almost feel we’re closer to Call of Duty or Uncharted in what we do than other racing games.
He also added,
Animation-wise, Split/Second is the most ambitious thing that’s ever been done in a racing game. So that is where we come down to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, Uncharted 2 comparison – because of these huge set-pieces.
The racer which now has a full name of Split/Second: Velocity is due for release on the 21st May UK for PS3, 360 and PC and going by these screens we can’t wait, can you?
