TSA Killzone 2 Clan Awards: The Results

A year has now passed since TheSixthAxis Killzone 2 clan was founded and what a year it has been. Over the course of the year we have had hundreds of fantastic games and have proudly represented TSA in battle. Now its time to say thanks to those who have continued the clan’s progress by hosting boot camps, clan tournaments and supporting TSA events.

This past week clan members voted for the best players of 2009, here are the results with a short explanation of why they were nominated by their team-mates:

Most Improved Player - Spooferbarnabas

Started as a decent challenge (or team-member), now he is widely known as Spoofer-TheDestroyerOfHope-barnabas

I remember the first time Spoofer joined in a TSA Boot Camp and I also remember the first time he took my head off with his trusty shotgun. Since joining the clan Spoofer has proven himself to be one of the best engineers out there and with the King of Killzone and Man on Man titles to his name, who can argue against him receiving this award

Oops! - Spooferbarnabas

For his expert use of the flame-thrower and his negative points record in one of the no-show clan games (around -300 points)

Side-arm Specialist - Radboud

Frustratingly accurate most of the time

Helping Hand – yogh_wayne

He is an excellent medic due to his amazing rifle skills and great decision making over someone who wants to be healed or should be left to die peacefully. He seems to always get that decision right in addition to his vast number of heals

Robotics Expert - Spooferbarnabas

A mean shot with the old shotgun and good use of bots. If you turn the corner and run into spoofer expect to lose your head

Tactical Mastermind - Roynaldo

Roy has worked tirelessly over the past year for the clan and has become the great tactician he is now. Excellent rifle skills and near perfect spawn placement justify him winning this award

Master of Disguise - ManeoriX

Clear choice for me due to his excellent flanking ability and amazing use of cloaking. Furthermore, with boost he is a lethal weapon in search and retrieve and uses the smg like a God. There are not many better saboteurs out there in my opinion

Rocket Man - Colinbarr66

Grr…blasted rocket launchers…

Deadly Observer - SirGregThorn

A superb scout with accurate shooting consistently and therefore deserves this award. Helped out the rest of the team with spot and mark ability and constantly shot me in the face

Player of the Year – Spooferbarnabas

The King of Killzone

The first question I have when I enter a Boot Camp, “What team is Spoofer on?”

There you have the TSA Clan Awards for 2009, congratulations to all the winners. Voting was very very close and demonstrates the quality of each and every player in the clan. Thank you to everyone that voted and to everybody who has participated in boot camps at some point over the past year, without community participation these weekly meets would not exist and the clan would have died away long ago. I can honestly say that the clan is one of the best things I’ve ever been involved in and do not want it to stop any time soon, will we be here this time next year? Only time will tell but until then, I’ll see you in Boot Camp.
