Splinter Cell & Creed “More Often”

Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot has said that he wants his company to turn out Splinter Cell and Assassin’s Creed games more often.

Speaking to Edge Online, Max Beland, creative director at Ubisoft Montreal said,

I’m not telling you that in a year you’ll have another Splinter Cell. Right now the direction Yves gave us and where the company is going is, at one point, if the direction doesn’t change, yes you’re going to be seeing Splinter Cell games – just like Assassin’s Creed games, just like anything else – released a little bit more often.”

We previously reported that according to the same Max Beland, Ubisoft would be releasing Splinter Cell on multiple console formats, so perhaps this new strategy of producing more of these games, more often is falling into line with this strategy.
