Last night saw the successful return of TSA King of Killzone where 16 eager participants entered hopeful that they would be crowned king. Would any of them be able to stop Spooferbarnabas’ dominance or would he cement his place as the best player TSA has to offer? Here’s what happened:

First up is bodycount and Helghast take an early lead over the ISA troops. After two minutes of battle Spooferbarnabas and ManeoriX are both 17 points on with Zuler right behind them. Three minutes into the round ManeoriX has taken the lead with 29 points, teflon has climbed into second on 27 with the current king on 23. At the end of Bodycount the Helghast have claimed victory leaving the top four as follows: ManeoriX – 32 points, Spooferbarnabas – 30, teflon – 27 and Zuler on 25 points.

Round 2 is Search and Destroy attack for the ISA, unfortunately for them the Helghast have strong defences set up meaning the first explosive plant doesn’t occur until half way into the round. At the half way point the ISA finally plant but it is quickly defuse, this pattern is continued several times over he next 2 minutes, current standings are ManeoriX – 53 points, Spooferbarnabas – 41 points and teflon on 38. ISA finally get both bombs planted with just 20 seconds left in the mission but Helghast manage to defuse both with 6 seconds left on the explosive timer. Helghast pick up their second victory in a row as ManeoriX leads seconds place Spooferbarnabas by 14 points with teflon a further 24 behind.

Assasination defend for the ISA is next and current king Spooferbarnabas is the target but is disposed of very quickly. Helghast now lead 3-0 over the ISA.

ISA go into Capture and Hold three rounds down and are desperate for a victory to stay in it. The Helghast forces take an early lead and midway through the round have a comfortable advantage. Maneorix is currently sitting on 88 points while the defensive nature of the round has boosted Spooferbarnabas tally to 84 points. ISA begin to mount a comeback but it is too little too late, Helghast claim the victory and the match. Some good news for ISA however as their player has now taken the lead, Spooferbarnabas has moved onto 90 points with Maneorix on 89, teflon is in a tight battle for third but is holding on with 57 points.

Now it is Assasination defend for the Helghast with TheDeathAvenger the target. Helghast begin the round with some fantastic defending but Spoofer breaks through taking TDA down and winning ISA their first round of the match.

Spoofer now has an 8 point lead going into Search and Destroy defend for ISA. With just two minutes left in the round Spoofer has an astonishing 44 point lead over ManeoriX, MF6465 has taken 3rd place and holds a 12 point advantage over teflon. The ISA manage to hold out for the win, standings are Spooferbarnabas – 156 points, ManeoriX – 109 points, MF6465 – 85 points and teflon – 81 points.

The final round is Search and retrieve which ISA narrowly win to bring the score to 4-3. Result is as follows (Score multiplier is not counted):

  • 1st – Spooferbarnabas 190 points
  • 2nd – ManeoriX 123 points
  • 3rd – teflon 94 points

Congratulations Spooferbarnabas on becoming the first man to retain his crown and commiserations to the other participants who put up an excellent fight. Thank you to Zuler for the picture below and to everyone that played, especially Roynaldo and CaptainMurdo who stepped in as last minute replacements.
