Surprise Sequel Not Twisted Metal

14At this point we don’t have long to wait, but Eat Sleep Play’s David Jaffe has already removed one possible title from the short-list of surprise Sony sequels due to be revealed this evening. It’s not Twisted Metal. Or, we should say, it’s not the game Jaffe is working on … which is Twisted Metal despite the fact that he won’t confirm it’s Twisted Metal*.
In one of his famed rants, Jaffe takes the time to mention the upcoming mystery title and how it is nothing to do with him. He states:
“[...] we are working hard on our game and we’re looking forward to showing it to you today on GTTV…oh wait…that’s not us :)”
Regarding just how flat-out the guys are working on their new (not the secret sequel) game, he continues:
“Please, let me assure you, I am working very hard. The team is working very hard. Sony is working very hard. We are still eager to entertain each and every one of you with what we’ve got cooking.”
Scratch another one off the list.
