GTA V Before E3

When Analysts talk gaming you have to listen, sometimes just for amusement value while at other times it’s because they may actually be talking some sense.

Well in this case we are being told that GTV will be released before E3, and the man responsible for this outrageous prediction? No it’s not Mr Patcher but Mike Hickey of Janco Partners, who has revealed that he thinks Take Two are set for a reveal, sooner rather than later.

There is building suspension for a pre-E3 GTA V announcement, although we expect nothing from Rockstar at this year’s official E3 event

The analyst also suggested that this GTA could be the biggest yet saying,

We think the next iteration of GTA for console can significantly outsell its predecessor, reflecting on the sales acceleration of the prior cycle GTA console iterations, an accelerating core gamer installed base, and the most talented / motivated development team in the world, in our view.

So can we expect an announcement soon then? Perhaps in the months leading up to E3? Well it seems like Mr Hickey certainly thinks so, however we are holding out for a 2011 release at least.
