Monkey Island 2 Bound For PS3?

28The Monkey Island series is a particular favourite of mine – the subtle, dry humour, the brilliant script, the devious puzzles – and last year’s Special Edition of the first game was a big hit but never saw the light of day on the PS3, despite PC, Xbox 360 and iPhone versions.
Well, panic not, PS3 gamers, because it appears that Lucasarts are planning a Special Edition of The Secret Of Monkey Island 2, and according to Kotaku it’ll appear on the PlayStation Network this time around so that nobody will have to miss out on the wonderful sequel.
“We’ve heard from sources that the game is due to be announced very soon,” says the site, “perhaps even next week at the Game Developer’s Conference, and that like the first game’s special edition, will contain all-new graphics and audio.” Fantastic news, fingers crossed then.
