Charts: Week Ending 13th March

21It’s no surprise that we have the 8th new number one of the year. Final Fantasy XIII has stormed the charts and dominated pretty much everything; it’s also become the third title this year to gain the accolade of ‘fastest selling game of the year’. 54% of FFXIII copies were sold on the PS3.
UK PS3 Chart: Week ending 13th March:
So FFXIII takes the top spot but what has that pushed out of the chart? Everything else pretty much stays the same except MAG has now disappeared from the top ten completely and Yakuza 3 makes its debut at number 6.
UK 360 Chart: Week ending 13th March:
Final Fantasy sits at the top on the 360 chart pushing Mass Effect 2 to number ten and Forza Motorsport 3 to number 6 (its lowest position since release). Avatar arrives back in the top ten but everything else is pretty much similar.
It will be interesting to see if God of War III, released this week, can topple FFXIII to take the number one spot on the PS3 chart.
