Kane & Lynch 2 Dated

Square Enix have revealed that Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days is set for an August 27th Release (though since this is a Saturday we presume they mean August 26th) in the UK.

Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days follows the two disturbed criminals, Lynch – an impulsive and reckless self-medicated psychopath and Kane – a tactical but disillusioned and desperate ex-mercenary, through 48 hours of hell. The game is of course a follow up to the Xbox 360 & PS3 release from a few years back, which was considered a average game by most critics, although I have to say I quite enjoyed it myself.

Anyway, it seems that IO Interactive, the developers of the game think they have something special with general manager, Niels Jørgensen saying,

We believe the unique visuals and relentless gameplay has created an intensity never delivered in a videogame before,” said Niels Jørgensen, general manager of IO Interactive. “In a genre where so many games look and feel the same, Kane & Lynch 2: Dog Days will make people double-take. We think it’s going to make quite an impression.
