Laughing Jackal, the creative minds behind PSP Minis hit Cubixx, are back for more. Two more, in fact, because we’ve just received the first screens and details of two brand new PSP Minis, both of which are “out soon”, apparently.

First up is “Pulse“, which we’re told is “a brand new era of rhythm”. The marketing blurb is a refreshingly honest one: “let Pulse take you on a heart-pounding, button-bashing journey through a huge variety of music tracks,” it says. “Your accuracy, timing and finger speed will be taken to the limit in this unique test of rhythm. Follow the pattern of music and chase the big combos and high scores!”

Next up: “Stellar Attack” which, sadly, is not about European lager but is an “old-school deep space shoot-em-up” with “classic puzzle gameplay”. The game appears to be a colour-based shooter: “eliminate orbs with your coloured lasers to expose the turrets and blow them out of orbit,” says the PR, “but avoid the homing missiles and cannon fire that threaten your fragile ship.”

First four screens are Pulse, the latter are Stellar Attack.
