David Reeves Joins Capcom

21As of tomorrow, 1st April 2010, former CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe – David Reeves – will join Capcom as the COO of the company’s European Subsidiary.
Reeves’ new job will be to maximise CE Europe’s potential revenue and explore new areas for growth within the region.
Hiroshi Tobisawa, President of CE Europe, has said:
He brings with him an unprecedented level of industry knowledge and expertise which will be invaluable as we look to grow our European operation.
That ‘level of expertise’ is in reference to Reeves’ 14 years at SCEE as he oversaw the launch of the PlayStation across Europe. Reeves seemed enthusiastic about his new post:
I established a close working relationship with Capcom during my time at Sony and have always admired its commitment to push boundaries and develop innovative titles. It is therefore a real pleasure to now join this organisation and be a part of its future successes.
