91A report has emerged which reveals that most PlayStation 3 consoles are actually bought second hand.
A recent survey by PS3PriceCompare has revealed that out of over 1000 owners of the console, 33 per cent had bought a it second hand.
The second method which was used by 26% of people was to sign up via a mobile phone contract and receive the console as an incentive.
Interestingly only 24 per cent admitted to paying full price for Sony’s console, while the remaining 17% of people were given the PS3 as a gift (14%) or won the console in a competition (3%).
Finally 78% of the 1017 people that took part said they had bought a second-hand game for PS3.
