OK we joked about this in the past but seriously, can the last one to leave turn the lights out at Infinity Ward? Eight more staff have left which brings the total to twenty six who have left in the past few weeks.

The lure of the ever increasing bonus pot does not seem to be working and by my rough calculations that’s about a quarter of the Infinity Ward staff who have left. Can they survive such a mass exodus of talent? Those who have left are lead programmers, lead character designers and lead level designers, all the main men in within their departments.

Also leaving is HR/recruitment specialist Kristin Cotterell. She may not have much to do with Modern Warfare but she would come in very handy if, you know you had set up a new company and needed someone to help recruit new staff. Just a suggestion.

Update: Two leavers have Respawn’d. Senior software engineer Chris Lambert and designer Brent McLeod have joined West & Zampella at Respawn Entertainment.
