Yesterday my lovely girlfriend, Helen, had an interview for a teaching job, an interview she was successful in. For those of you aren’t teachers the interview process is a little tougher than the majority of jobs, she started at 9am and left at 4.30pm. On the back of this she suggested a simple topic, interviews.

There’s two options here, the serious and the silly, and because I’m in a funny mood today we’re going with the silly. Maybe I’ll do the serious tomorrow if I don’t get distracted by some tinfoil in the mean time. So what’s the silly topic I hear you cry? Well imagine you’re going for a job at some random company. Their policy is to have a board of three people interview you, and in this crazy, crazy scenario all three are game characters. Who would be the best three to have on your panel?

For me I’d have Crash Bandicoot, Dr Robotnik and Steve from Tekken. Crash Bandicoot is a simple choice, I don’t think he’d be too interested in the interview and I’d probably get an easy pass from him. Even if he was paying attention I could just easily distract him with a crate or two. Robotnik? I think  he’d understand the slight evil that underlies everything I do, a trait I picked up from spending too much time with mildly insane people. He’d appreciated my dark desires, although he might call me an underachiever for not doing anything about it.

As for Steve, I just wanted someone who’s insanely British. I mean come on we get the fact that you’re from England, you don’t have to have a Union Flag on every item of clothing you’d wear. More than anything I’d like to confront him over that, plus I think he’d make a good counterbalance to the other two members of the interview board.

Yes I know this topic is crazy, I promise you’ll have something more sane tomorrow. So who would you like on your interview board? To flip it around as well, which characters would you like to interview?
