Finally. No longer is Alex able to lay claim to being the only one of us at TSA Towers that has the magical ModNation Racers. Now all that’s left to fuel our envy is his iPad, but that’s another story.
To celebrate MNR’s release we are going to be playing online all over the weekend. In fact, one of you lovely TSAians has already got the ball rolling with a TSA Meet – head into the forum thread for all the details you’ll need. No doubt that TSA Meet will fill up fast, so if you aren’t able to get in there you may want to head on over to Twitter where we’ll be using the hashtag #tsamnr to mark Tweets related to online MNR shenanigans.
MNR isn’t just about racing against your friends, it’s also about creating amazing tracks for them to race on, and amazing mods and karts to race with. I’ve already checked out a few tracks made by TSAians, and, as you’d expect, they were indeed amazing. Above average at least. Average, maybe. Playable. Just.
Make sure you have a good look at all the user-created stuff that’s already out there and be sure to vote for the ones you like. It’s always nice when someone does that. So, I’m told. I mean, you know, when did anyone ever vote for me?
This weekend is all about getting to know our new favourite game, exploring the online aspect, and hopefully having memorable races on cunningly designed tracks crafted by expert TSAians. Keep an eye out for more formal MNR online action soon though, as TSA brings some tournament excitement your way.
If you want to play with TSA this weekend, leave a comment and include your PSN ID so people can Friend-You-Up and get racing. I’ve got very limited space left on my Friends List, so I’ll only be taking the first 100 of you that Friend-Me-Up.
See you in the ModSpot!
My PSN ID is LordMooch. Feel free to Friend-Me-Up, but make sure you identify yourself as being from TSA or else the request will be deleted.
