We mentioned this on Friday, but we know you’ve slept since then, so here’s a reminder: TheSixthAxis’ inaugural ModNation Racers meet is on, tonight, at 6pm. Here’s the link to the Meet. Yes, that’s a direct link to the Meet, another sneaky feature we built in today to help you guys organise and send out links to mates.
What’s that? A Meet? Well, if you’re a regular, registered member of TheSixthAxis you’ll know all about Meets but if not, well, this might all be new to you, so here’s a little introduction.
TSA’s fabulous writing, dashing good looks and charming personalities are only half of what makes this site so smashing: the other half is you, our endearing, evergreen community. And our community meets up regularly to play lots of friendly, fun games, from Battlefield BC2 to Killzone, Burnout to – well, ModNation.
All you have to do is click onto the Meets page, and sign up for a Meet and your name will automatically appear on the list. And once you’ve stocked up enough TSA Points (by reading, interacting, posting and commenting on the site) you’ll be able to set up your own Meets too, so it’s all pretty damned groovy.
Even better, once you’re registered, click here to see your profile and scroll to the bottom – there’s two boxes for your PSN ID and Xbox 360 Gamertag, drop them in there and they’ll appear next to your name on the Meet, so that the person that’s organising the Meet can send you invites and stuff – easy peasy.
Regular readers will also notice that the User Profile box on the right of every main page (where you can also check your Private Messages, TSA Points etc) of the site will now only show the TSA Meets that you’re actually signed up for, not just the list for that particular day. Neat, huh?
So, yeah, Meets. ModNation Racers – 6pm, tonight. More info here in our forum.
TheSixthAxis’ review of ModNation Racers, in which we scored the game a 9/10, is here.
