TSA’s ModNation Racers Battle

It’s tournament time again here at the Towers and this time we have the newly released Play Create Share blockbuster Modnation Racers to whet your appetite.

Open to all TSA members is a 1 vs 1 knockout tournament for up to 32 of you, our fine community, to take part in for a lovely bunch of 1000 TSA points, a special coloured “MNR Champion” TSA Tag on the site comments for 30 days so everyone knows you’re a racing hero and a European copy of Söldner-X 2 for the PS3 for the winner.  2nd and 3rd places get 500 and 250 TSA points respectively, alongside similar TSA Tags.

The tournament will be spread over the next few weeks, starting Thursday 3rd June. To enter, just drop a comment in this post.  Once all entries are in you will be selected an opponent (at random) and it will be then up to both competitors to decide on a day/time to play and inform Roynaldo, who’s organising this event, of the results via our Private Messaging service.

From the time the fixtures are posted (we’ll update the results and fixtures on the website here) you will be allowed 4 days to play your match, which you must organise yourselves.  If one person fails to make the match on an agreed date and time they will automatically lose it, and if the match cannot be played by both it will be forfeited. Once all results are in the draw will be made for the next round.

Rules:

If there are more than 32 entries the contestants will be drawn at random. Only the game’s inbuilt tracks will be used. Tracks will also be drawn at random for each round, once a track has been used it cannot be used again in future rounds.  The final and 3rd place play-off will be a best of 3 races.

Entry cut off for the initial round draw is Tuesday 1st June 11pm. All entries placed via a comment in this thread. The 32 players will be Private Messaged for their PSN ID, which you must provide swiftly.

Additional terms here.  This is a community event and thus we cannot be held liable for any issues outwith our control.  The first place prize will require a PS3, a broadband internet connection and a European PSN account to download.  The code for the first place prize may be time limited and thus may be substituted by TheSixthAxis if required.
