Modern Warfare Master Results
Did MrDuarte retain his title?Published: 8:30, 10/06/2010 by Colinbarr66.
30Tuesday night saw the return of the TSA Modern Warfare Master competition and after twenty long, hard fought minutes we had our winner. Was someone able to take the title away from the current champion? Did someone new write their names into the TSA history books? No. No last night MrDuarte proceeded to destroy everyone and everything in his path to become the first back to back Modern Warfare Master winner.
Here is how the top three looked once the battle had ended:
- 1st – MrDuarte – 10500 points
- 2nd – Yung Jones – 6740 points
- 3rd – Daywalker – 6500 points
Congratulations to the top three participants, especially MrDuarte on an extremely impressive victory. Finally a big thank you goes to everyone that participated and to CaptainMurdo for hosting the match.

How the heck does MrDuarte do it?! That’s a crazy kill/death ratio. Come on, I’m wanting some insider tips. Does he use a fragfx controller?

He doesn’t really have a crazy kill/death ratio unless you think 105/91 [1.15] is that good :P – Although he does have a CRAZY amount of kills.

Interestingly, he also has the highest death rate, around 30% higher than anyone else, and his kill rate is about the same percentage, so Im guessing he had his ass in the grass about 30% more than everyone else.. BTW, going by those figures, Im guessing MrDuarte is a runner, prolly using Marathon Pro and some kind of ‘from the hip’-type weaponry (UMPs, perhaps?), so he doesnt have to slow down. Just a guess, but I doubt thats the k/d ratio of a sniper..

Well to awnser all your questions altough i have a high kill death ratio in the leaderboards(1.70 i think) i don’t stop, im always running thats why sometimes i die alot. oh and no marathon, just sleight of hand, stop power, steady aim and my trusty TAR-21 xD. With dualshock 3 of course.

I came 2nd again!! Everyone noticeably has a worse K/D than last time because that map was cramped and there was a lot more camping. Still it was fun though, even if I did almost headbutt my TV in rage XD. Well done to everyone and especially MrDuarte for retaining his title. And MrDuarte can you like go away for the next MWM ;)

I was ahead of you for most of the game I went into a huge deathstreak and kept getting killed just as I spawned. That was some Mega RRRAAAGGGGEEEE!!!! I was like, “oh, Yung is way behind… wait! No he’s not! Shit! DISPERSE!” Great game though man. And everyone. But not Mynameisblair with his motherfuncking shotgun. That really pissed me off. :P

Haha yeah at the beginning you and MrDuarte were wayyyyy ahead, I was actually considering sitting in a corner just rocking back and forth. Then all of sudden I was above you I was like wtf, the amount of times I pressed select to see if you had overtaken me was ridiculous.
@MrDuarte everywhere I went you were there with your blasted Tar-21 and you almost always won the face-off, now i’m considering a restraining order for the likes of you… =)

So here I was thinking I was shit-hot with 6 kills 0 deaths straight off the bat. Then mr.Yung P90 comes storming in; pretty much raping the killboards. No idea what the hell MrDuarte was doing, just glad he was on my team <3

Then by your logic whats the point of playing the game if everybody has the same amount of skill? -_-
Altough your logic is wrong ill tell you the main purpose of tournaments and simple matches: having fun. Yes im happy for winning both competitions but above all im happy because I had a great time with great people.

Jealousy is so ugly. You were obviously beaten by soem 9 year old on MW2 recently and are taking your nager out here. Mr D is hardly going around bosting he climbed mount everest. No need to try put him down. They played a game of MW2 for fun, not to say “look how good we are at this game”. You dont like the game then fair enough but your comment just spits of rudism.
