2Spiritual successor to Black, Bodycount has some high expectations to meet. While we saw some screens a while back other information has been a bit thin on the ground. Now though ahead of E3 the Bodycount team have launched the game’s blog with a video of some “pre-alpha” gameplay.
With some high-intensity gun battles featuring “shoot the exploding red barrel” action and some pretty good looking destruction of walls and roofs this video is worthy of a minute and a half of your time. Didn’t spot any freaky Lady Gaga-inspired costumes on the characters though.

I know it’s pre-alpha but I can only comment on what we see. I think it’s going to need a lot more than destructable walls to compete with something like Brink. Looked a tad generic to me.

all FPS look generic to me. How many ways can we shoot someone in 1st person?!?!lol
Maybe it will look better after a few months work

Just had a brainfart and mixed up Bulletstorm and Bodycount. Just felt the need to share that.

I had that problem too… :D
and even if its pre-alpha… it looks nothing like follow-up for a title like BLACK. Just an average shooter, not really nice graphics and weapons and armor every shooter has.
With games like bulletstorm or brink coming out, which look pretty nice, this game will have tough competition.

Not that impressed, although this is only the `pre alpha´ phase. It´s good to see that lovely Black gun though

Now where did I put my teeth? ahhhh they’re in my horlicks.

Really not impressed.
Gameplay looks dull, the graphics are poor and the art style is very bland!
Not only that but the actual editing of the trailer is really unexciting.
Releasing this was a mistake IMO
