3By now you will have read our thoughts after sitting up late to watch the Ubisoft conference. Whether it was sleep deprivation, too much caffine, too much alcohol or just Ubisoft’s crazy French-ness, we did not come away overly impressed.
If you did not decide to watch it live you can see it now as Ubisoft have published the video on YouTube. Before you run away screaming at the thought of watching an hour and a half of bizarre dancing, laser tag and breathing ‘games’ you will be pleased to know they have broken it up into bitesize chunks.

Child of Eden sold Kinect for me in a way nothing Microsoft has ever managed to do with their showings.
Also, Rayman looks AMAZING! The art style is gorgeous!

Children of Eden looks…different, in a good way though. I didn’t have a clue when a saw the teaser trailer but this looks pretty cool. As the title said tough, everything else looked kinda dull.
And what the hell is the point of the switchy car thing in driver!? The clue is in the name “driving” so why would I just wanna go skipping around the city using some stupid thing he thinks he’s magically got but is really dreaming it!
LOL he was definitely not meant to mention that by the way! Watch the dude on stage when he does, he cacks his pants a bit!

Yeah, I loved when the presenter said ‘that guy had a family’ – he had a good point I think, with tech that advanced all the violence seemed quite unnecessary.

Yeah I’d hope for a stealthy rating somewhat akin to Hitman’s Silent Assassin rating.
But the gun battles look fun too, especially the tachikoma style tank things that are gonna be a playable multiplayer class :D
