Kojima Has PS3 Exclusive For TGS

According to CVG, the man behind Metal Gear Solid, Hideo Kojima, has a PS3 exclusive that’ll be revealed at the Tokyo Game Show this September.

Apparently discussion at E3 between the site and a “senior US publishing source” suggests the exclusive title will be “massive” and will “own the show” – big words, there.

It seems that the game would have been shown at E3 (alongside a few others we’ve heard about) but was kept back at the last minute for TGS to “ensure it’s bulletproof”.

Whatever the game will be, it’s likely to be published by Konami.  We’re guessing ZOE 3, but who knows?

      • Sony won’t pay for exclusives. There on record somewhere saying that. They just give more “support” to the development. I’ll dig around and find the Linky.

  6. I really REEEEEEEALLY hope this is another Solid Snake Metal Gear :D As old as some people may think the series is getting now… I still love every minute of every game. Plus, the end of MGS4 was just depressing! I don’t want to think of Snake as dead :(

      • Yeah I like to think of him retired in a little mexico village, sipping on scotch and smoking cigars while rocking back and forth on his rocking chair. Either that or hanging around cheerleaders changerooms in his stealth suit. He’s done enough killing, let him enjoy life

  7. Fuck zoe please please mgs HD remake if it did my spants would be very very sticky…. Or at least mgs4 subsistance or whatever would be called. :-( my heart sank with niether being at e3

    • I never thought of that. If he not only went back and did a HD version of the first 3 MGS games, but actually completely remade them to next gen detail/graphics… MY GOD. Even a complete proper remake of the first game would be epic. Like The Twin Snakes, only a million times better.

  8. I’m not sure about ZOE as i didn’t warm to it but if te game’s going to be a show stealer then it’s gotta be worth checking out.
    I expect there’ll be more surprises from Gamescom and TGS too.

  9. Definitely not ZOE. Kojima has long since hinted in his tweets that he’s working on a “taboo” project that is set to change the flow of the industry, and that’s what the E3 talk is also suggesting. Kojima has also recently said that ZOE is most definitely on hold, most likely because he’s working on the said “taboo project”.
