Reporting on LittleBigPlanet costume packs is a little like covering the weather. Often it’s good, sometimes it’s a little bit damp, but one thing’s for sure – there’s always going to be more of it.
We’re highlighting a new LBP DLC pack for the main reason that, if we were going to dress up our little Sackpeople as iconic figures, we wouldn’t bother with leprechauns, Street Fighter characters or bloody Santa Claus. No, we’d want to dress them up as Wolverine or Elektra. Lucky us, we’ll soon get our chance.
Announced over at Marvel.com, a whole gaggle of famous comic characters are coming to the sandbox game. Who’s made the grade? Here’s the roll call.

Apart from the new costumes, there will also be a “magnificently massive Marvel Level Kit,” which includes “four levels of adventure pitting your Sackpeople against the evil plans of Magneto.”

Starts July 7th. Five packs of four characters each. Weekly I assume. Not sure when the level pack is out. At the start I would assume.

Where is the Devil May Cry pack? it was announced when LBP was out, along with the MGS one, but its all gone quiet with it. Hmm odd. But this looks awesome. I want to see if some of the costumes have helmets and things. Really home the green goblin one does. Would look awesome with my Raiden body and Cole electricity. :D
