I’ve been up to my neck in plumbing, plasterboard, fibrous loft-insulation (which I’m not totally convinced didn’t contain asbestos) and around twenty years of accumulated junk this week thanks to an old pipe bursting in our attic. It’s been a nightmare. All of that means that I’ve been away from the site and I’ve neglected my duties a bit. Luckily Roynaldo is on-hand to make sure the delays aren’t too expansive. I’ll hand you over to him.

The final results are in. The competitors gave their all but there can be only one. Manorhowze and ProjectJAY went toe to toe for what I’m told was a very close match up.

After all the back and forth rockets, after all those boost pads, after all that air time ProjectJAY has now officially been crowned TSA’s Modnation Champion with a 2 races to 1 victory. He is now a proud owner of Soldner X 2 Final Prototype, a game I myself now own which is full of superb retro brilliance.

Both finalists also pick up a huge chunk of TSA points to boot and TSA tags to show their achievements.

Similarly DrNate86 has undone scubastevies challenge for 3rd spot and picks up himself a tidy bunch of 250 TSA points to add to his collection.

Ive been asked recently what is the point in the points. After thorough research and a few examinations (on myself) I now understand they are directly proportional to penis size so if there a few weiners out there you had better get to entering these competitions and regularly visiting TSA to rectify the problem.

My thanks go out to all the competitors for making this competition as pain free as possible for me and being good sports in the face of defeat, apart from our one and only Katy who showed signs of her own version of bitterness that only she can.

Hopefully in the coming weeks or months there will be another one of these tournaments, possibly with a twist to the format used in this showing. With that in mind I leave you now and hope to see you on the track soon.

  1. Ace job Roy, and hope my name is picked out of the bag for the next tournament. I still havent seen any of the winner Tags next to the finalists posts yet, must be shy. Anyway well done to all that managed to enter/turn up and I look forward to the next competition….and really well done to Manor for getting so far as I think that he was newish to the racing side of the game….more of a Studio dev.

  2. Congrats to ProjectJay, Commiserations to Manor.

With so many people wanting to enter the tourney, is there a reason why the races are ‘one on one’instead of, say four or five player?

  3. Thanks all, twas a terrific and tense race. Props to baconsarnie, Daywalker, icuyesido, scubastevie and of course Manorhowze for some epic showdowns! And of course Roynaldo, for organising the tourny. I’ve made some new friends, and no doubt rivals, thanks to this brilliant game, so thanks again!

I eagerly await my prizes ;)

  4. If only it had a custom tournament mode…would probably make the dreadful multiplayer experience good to me.
