PETA must be inundated with complaints at the moment. If it’s not the rampant animal slaughter found in Red Dead Redemption, it’s the flagrant bear mistreatment at the very heart of 505 Games’ Naughty Bear. Next up in the “let’s-see-how-many-models-we-can-infuriate-and-then-make-get-naked” stakes – Lionhead’s Fable III.
Witness the complete and utter wolf annihilation in this below combat-centric footage. We’re not suggesting wolves are the cute, innocent creatures we know, say, dingos are, but surely shooting them into trees is borderline cruelty to computer-generated animals.
Fable III obliterates the world’s wolf population this October.

Nice video, the game looks pretty good.
I remember in Overlord 2 where you could bludgen seal pups to death. Good times! :)

Haha that’s what I thought! The tender embrace at the end is a little worrying. That said, it is from the mind that brought us Milo: Don’t Tell Mummy.

I hate wolves too, they’re arrogant little shits. I kill them whenever I get the chance, especially in Twilight Princess. >:l

That’s just ridiculous. A pack of that many wolves would either have left once the first few were hurt, or have torn him to shreds.

Stupid game. Not mirroring real life and all.

Well I don’t expect 100% realism when I play, but if it gets too ridiculous it ruins the “suspension of disbelief”.
There is magic in this world. Fine I can accept that. But a pack off wolves that doesn’t flee when there is a magic explosion that sends them flying? The game/movie/book/whatever had better explain to me why they act that way if I’m going to be “caught” in the story.

Think I am done with the Fable experience now.
It’s getting a bit boring now

I loved Fable 2, so I’m really looking forward to Fable 3. It’s nice to see that they haven’t changed much in the game.

i have decided to start a new game of fable 2 to try to get a good save to import for fable 3, assuming that feature remains in the game when it’s released.
at the very least i can have fun playing it again. :)
