Multiplayer Castlevania On XBL In August

8

Six appeal.

Published: 9:30, 07/07/2010 by Dan Lee.

Are you sick and tired of seeing vampires that sparkle in the sun instead of bursting into flames? Do you have five like minded mates?  Then good news, as Konami has announced that the multiplayer game ‘Castlevania Harmony of Despair’ will be hitting Xbox Live on August 4th as part of Microsoft’s ‘Summer of Arcade’.

The game sees up to six players controlling the heroes of Castlevania games past, roaming huge 2D castles and environments looking to lay the smackdown on the undead.  There will also be a Survival mode in which players attempt to outlast each other versus hordes of enemies.

Currently an Xbox exclusive, Konami has mentioned a PSN version is possible if the game sells well enough.

  2. I note a few things appearing on the XBL with a PSN version supposedly following down the line,

A 2D Castlevania is one of gaming’s high points although I’m not sure about this multiplayer stuff.

Saddened that Blacklight: Tango Down appears on the XBL today & a PSN version is coming at some unknown point in the future… Com’on Sony get tough with the pubs and get your share for your customer base

    • I think Blacklight:Tango Down will release next week because this week Mw2 Dlc is coming so it would kill Blacklight:Tango Down sells.

  3. Sony really need to fund small time devs and get more games on PSN. But thinking of that most devs know LIVE is full of kids with cash so they as usual will come first. I hope in time PS+ profits will be used wisely

    • 50 million PSN accounts, does that mean anything?

Well 49.9 million being kids creating accounts for COD anyway
