Sony has now officially revealed the final design for the PlayStation Move packaging. Our verdict? Not bad. Not bad at all! Whereas Microsoft has seemingly gone for something bolder, Sony’s packaging is understated but loses nothing for it – and it’s colour coordinated.
Sure, packaging doesn’t have any bearing on how well an electronic device actually works – but as we discussed in the Kinect article, it’s the first thing a consumer who is unaware of the product sees.
It could have used some Kevin Butler though.

Have you played Wii Sports? I think its basically that. Just lots of mini games like ping-pong, tennis etc.

Im not sure if Im going to get move now. At first I was, but I want to see some ‘hardcore’ games, not just games that have been on the Wii for years.

@Ryan Not interested in KZ3, hated KZ2.
@Dan Socom Confrontation was horrendously bad, so many bugs, it was unreal. If it gets good reviews, then maybe, but atm, I sticking clear of it.

SOCOM 4 is being developed by Zipper Interactive though so I have faith the finished product will be up to scratch. Fingers crossed!

MAG still has issues that were in the beta that still havent been fixed afaik. Basic things, like not being able to respawn, bullet lag etc.

I never had too many issues with MAG, but it sounds like I was one of the lucky ones.

I also never had a single issue with mag. Much less lag than cod.

How about a RTS game like R.U.S.E.? An RTS should be more enjoyable an a console with the Move instead of the DS3 or SixAxiS.

Not that I could find – they don’t seem to be pushing it very much.

i saw some of those in hmv yesterday, they were advertising preorders.
the packaging for the move controller looked similar to the packaging for the dual shock, the same sort of plastic packaging, but in white.

For having an EyeToy (camera thingie) already, I feel like I’m being punished on price. Individual components to Move add up quickly. Bloody ouch! :-(

I know.
Surely a ‘Gamers Bundle’ or something with subcontroller Move and maybe The Fight should be released?
I’m in the same situation I already have an Eye but want Move a Subcontroller and a game.

With you both. Move controller, Navi controller and a demo disc and/or game disc. I’d be close to pre-ordering now and I don’t usually do stuff like that. Just want to try it out and enjoy it (hopefully).

Agreed, i already have the camera too and I feel agrieved that Im gonna have to fork out seperately too.
Certainly feel like punishment, particularly as the only reason I bought the camera about 3 months ago was to be ready for Move. Only thing its been good for so far was the Burnout platinum.
Get your finger out Sony and sort a Controller and Nav bundle

Looks like for people with a camera or something already, it would be cheaper in the long run to import the pack from the US as it includes sports champions, and sell the camera on the cheap.
Play are advertising Sports Champions alone for £34.99!!

For god sake Sony, bundle the navigation and wand controllers with the camera for 50 quid.
No buy from me.

Does anyone know if or when the PS3 bundle comes out over here? Can’t decide if I should wait or not to get it or just get a slim now.

Well ‘if’ it is released here, and i assume it probably will be, it’ll be round about middle to late september (move launches september 15th in europe, 17th in UK).
So, it really depends. Can you wait another 2 months?

My PS3 YLOD’d for the second time yesterday so dunno if I should risk waiting after it’s been fixed.
