It’s that time of week again where I spend the rest of the day thinking it’s Thursday, this week’s store update sees the release of Deathspank. Joining the wonderfully titled RPG is the Blur demo and the usual range of Minis, generous discounts and PSP content.

STILLCANTTHINKOFAGOODPSNNAME
try the deathspank demo it’s really quite enjoyable
AlterEgo76
Looks like the demo isn’t on the UK store, but it is on the US one!

Blur is a surprisingly good (but hard) game. I rented it and spend a good couple of weeks with it. I recommend the demo to everyone.
cc_star
Blur demo for me, although I hear the campaign is a bit empty but as a kart racer its good online
Kevling
The online is brilliant, but sadly not many people seem to be online. On Sunday night in-game it said 970 playing online, but then that was straight after the football.
Hopefully the demo should help shift a few more copies as this game definitely deserves a wider audience.

The single player is good but too repetitive. Best thing is do the minimum required to ‘complete’ it (you don’t need to do all the races) which unlocks the best cars, then play online.
It’s the driving equivalent of Modern Warfare as the single player is fairly fun but online is the best bit. It’s also similar in that it has ‘mods’ which are basically perks and several game types.

Deathspank!!
brillerment
Ditto!
Erroneus
Will properly get Deathspank. Cool to see some Trine DLC, does anybody knows if it contains new trophies? :)
BadBoyBoogie
No trophies for the Trine DLC according to the Frozenbyte website.
Erroneus
Yeah confirmed in their forum, sad, but will still get it.

Blur is a quality game, be great if more people here buy it then we can have some TSA meets :)
Jones81
While I’m on the subject of TSA meets has anyone else on here got war for cybertron?, it’s a great game and online modes/escalation are a lot of fun. Add me if anyone fancies a game. Psn ID: Jones_81

I love the 3rd post down the comments from SCEE, warning that ‘Spank’ is on their block list of naughty words and should be avoided when commenting! :)
Raider197
Just FirstPlay for me, as has become common these days. I cracked and bought Resident Evil 1 & 2 and Tomb Raider 1-5 on eBay, tired of waiting for Classics to make their way to the Store.
