EA Are All Like “Hey, New Games”

45It’s EA’s Annual Studio Showcase today, and we’ve been told that there’s going to be new game announcements. The event, which will be streamed live on GameSpot.com here, will feature all the news as it happens, kicking off at 1PM Pacific Summer Time.
Yes, we’re expecting little other than the next FIFA, the next Tiger Woods, the next Fight Night (which kinda already slipped out) but we’re also hoping for a few other treats from the event – a HD remake of Road Rash, or, even better, a brand new SSX, anyone? Please, EA.
Rumours are flicking between there being seven new games revealed, and just two – we’ll have anything worth printing once the event kicks off.

A new Airblade would be rather nice also (alongside new SSX, FreekStyle and Sledstorm).

I believe there’s supposed to be a new Spore title being revealed soonish, rumoured to be called Dark Spore with URLs backing up the rumour. Might be announced today.
