Mynameisblair. Have truer words ever been spoken? No, but what hasn’t he managed to fit in to his clever name? Well read on to find out more about a great friend of mine. He really is awesome.

Name: Blair Inglis
Age: 17
Birthplace: Scotland
Living now: Scotland
Gamerscore/Trophy Level: Scotla… 2790/Level 15
Q: Do you have any other hobbies which help you unwind and relax?
A. Movies, television, reading and writing are all hobbies of mine. Of course, being Scottish means that eating haggis, playing the bagpipes and drinking heavily are all my favourite things to do. Not a moment goes by where I’m not carrying a drink in one hand and a haggis in the other, whilst I play the bagpipes. Okay, I’m not being entirely truthful, I can’t play the bagpipes and I don’t like haggis…
Q: We know yournameisblair, but do you have any cool (shorter) nicknames in the real world?
A. Well, my friends thought it would be funny to give me the name “Binglis” and shout “Here, Binglis” now and then, but it never really caught on. I’ve heard “Lord and ruler of the Universe” thrown around quite a bit, too.
Q: Life’s full of embarrassment, you must’ve had your fair share. Give us the top entry (or two).
A. I do a lot of stupid things, but I don’t get embarrassed too much. I can’t think of a time I was embarrassed enough to store that moment in my memory so I could write it down in an interview in the future. Maybe I suppressed those memories for this reason, who knows?
Q: Does anyone else in your family game or is it like playing the AI on easy?
A. My Dad has a PS3 and a huge TV, but you’ll find him conquering the latest levels on Angry Birds most of the time (he has 3 stars on every level) and we’ve played MotorStorm quite a bit. I’ve actually played Modern Warfare 2 online with him once, which was good fun. That’s about it, really. My Grandad has a Nintendo DS, if that counts.
Q: What really kick-started your gaming hobby?
A. It was really the Mega Drive in my very early years and the old Gameboy with Tetris that got me in to gaming at first. A few years later I got a Nintendo 64 and that was when I really became a gamer.
Q: Your favourite game would be what exactly?
A. It has to be The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I make time to play through it every year, and each time it is as good as the last. This is my favourite game, my favourite game soundtrack, my favourite game world and everything else. I cannot wait for the 3DS remake; that’s next year’s playthrough sorted.
Q: I know you’re on summer holiday right now, but what will you be doing in the coming months during the day?
A. I’ve taken up jogging to try and get fit, and it seems to be going good so far. I’m also obviously writing for TSA and I’ll fit my gaming time between that. I’ll probably go and play through Ocarina of Time, actually.
Q: Anything you’d like to say to your adoring fans?
A. Fans? I thought this was for your eyes only, Murdo! Uh..
Stay classy, readers.
So to sum up, we can now call Blair “mynameisblairandIlovezelda,Ican’tplaythebagpipesandIdoalotofstupidthings?” Catchy. One thing I will say, watch your cookies around Blair. He’s known for stealing them right before you get on a train.
You can expect more Meet The Staffs over the coming weeks. Hopefully, they’ll all be as open as the past participants.

Well get a gamecube, buy the game, lock your doors, and just leave a note saying pizza will be delivered through the letterbox. You can now be classed as a classic gamer any questions?

I don’t have time with all these new fangled consoles and their HD lovelies. I also partially hate Zelda. *runs*

Not the only one Murdo. I’ve never played OOT either. Zelda doesn’t interest me at all.

Nor me i’ve been at it since 1979 and have to admit always giving a wideberth to Nintendo in general . Why have a N64 when I had a PS1 throughout that generation .
I did play Goldeneye once on 4 player and enjoyed it and I have had a Donkey Kong Game&Watch ,Gameboys and currently have a DS . I did for a short time own a SNES alongside my Megadrive and enjoyed “INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR SOCCER” (shouted in Scottish accent) and Mariokart but since the SNES they only do good handhelds .
N64 , Gamecube and Wii are now 3 gens of Nintendo consoles I havent bothered with .

Is it me, or is the candle on that cake a “13″? Is that just a very old picture or do you just enjoy ruining kids parties by blowing out their candles?

Add the four other candles, what do you get?
Was waiting for someone to ask this ;)
