Referenced in passing during Sony’s Gamescom event, Virtua Tennis 4, the latest entry in Sega’s sporting series, is coming to PlayStation 3.
Pretty much all we know about the game is that it will support Sony’s Move motion controller, as well as 3D. We’ll probably be seeing it sometime next year.
Expect an official announcement from Sega very soon.

It is Virtua, yes, and you’ll more than likely be able to play with a pad.

Cool, I was just thinking yesterday I need a new tennis game. Won’t be using move or 3d though. You nkow I never thought of this til now but I hope companies don’t start adding Move only trophies!!!

It’s a possibility. Remember Burnout’s PS Eye trophy?

Yeah exactly, that’s what made me think it. That was ridiculous enough but implementing Move only trophies in games where you don’t need Move as a necessity would just be a terrible thing to do to trophy hunters. I mean you can buy Eye Toy for about 4 quid but Move will cost a lot more.

Well, it makes perfect sense, business-wise. If the developers want to make Move an essential or integral part of the game, they’re gonna do it.
