Here’s the first co-op trailer for Portal 2, courtesy of Gametrailers. It’s not long but it is exciting. We’re all huge Portal fans here (I’ve bought it for three different platforms) so we are honestly having difficulty containing our excitement for this. Let us know what you think of the trailer in the comments.

I agree completely with rht992, definitely worth getting =]
Plus, to combat your worries about having too many games, the first is relatively short as it was never a full game originally. Buy buy buy! =P

The Orange Box is great and you can pick it up for a tenner brand new. Portal and the Half Lifes (Half Lives:)?) are excellent games. Portal is probably one of the most satisfying console games I’ve played this gen (along with Braid) and you get a fantastic sense of accomplishment when you complete it. Seriously – buy it.

Then you’ve missed out one of the most enjoyable games that’s come out for years – it’s funny and fun, but also rewarding. Don’t miss the sequel too!

Split screen is always much more fun in my opinion, I’m saddened by its disappearance in most games as of late…

I wish split-screen/local-multiplayer would appear in more games, especially the ‘unmissable’ blockbuster ones!

it should be a given in any racing game at least

Pretty sure split/screen was confirmed.

I’ve been reluctant to buy the orange box because I’m essentially paying for two games i dont want. I really want to play portal before the second though, and i wish they’d bloody hurry up and put it on PSN!
Just an idea, but with thesixthaxis’ clout do you think we could get a response from sony/valve as to wether this would be possible? Heck, if it were free on playstation+ I may finally take the plunge.

You can pick up the orange box for a tenner. I’m not sure which games you don’t want – for me the only one i didn’t want was Team Fortress (never even loaded it up) but Half-Life and Portal are games you MUST play imo.

The more and more I see of Portal 2 makes me want to play Portal 1 again. I may need to get the Orange Box.
