It appears that at the end of May this year SEGA registered the URL ‘Valkyria3.jp’ – this has led to many people getting excited about the prospect of a Valkyria Chronicles 3 announcement. Clicking on to the site at the moment just leads to a prompt for a username and password.
SEGA also owns valkyria.jp and valkyria2.jp so this might just be a case of them protecting their assets. If a new one was to be announced, we wonder what platform it would be on as the series producer has already said he wants to bounce the series between PS3 and PSP. Valkyria Chronicles 2 will be out on the PSP in Europe on 3rd September.

Oh, I really hope it will be released on PS3! Love the first game, but don’t have a PSP to play the sequel :(
