James Bond 007: Blood Stone New Trailer

Shaken and stirred.

I was never a huge fan of the old James Bond films – they were all a bit too cheesy.  Since Daniel Craig has taken on the role however, Bond has suddenly burst into life.  This is apparent when watching the latest trailer for Bizarre and Activision’s game – James Bond 007: Blood Stone which has car chases, free running, good old slug fests and Craig generally strutting about like a bad ass.  The game will be released this November for PS3, 360 and DS.

Daniel Craig strutting his stuff in digital form looks pretty darn good, Bond deserves a good gaming title while we wait to see if he’ll return to the big screen. Lets hope Craig gets to do that again for real when the MGM situation gets resolved.

Quantum of solace was actually ok, if this can improve on that quite a bit then we could be on to a winner.

It was built on the same engine as COD4 which, I think, was a very good idea as it worked well for the shooting and cover systems. Are they doing the same with this?

That looks excellent – and actualy in game footage. PLus it has Judi Dench in it, which makes it automatically superb.

Assuming they didn’t Americanise it, I’d love to see Naughty Dog tackle a Bond game.

+1. I’m sure ND would do an amazing job. :)

ND doing this would make it quality.

ND is owned by Sony. Bond games are owned by activision. Unless sony would buy Bond games rights, which seems highly unlikely (However, ND already does amazing games, so if they made a game based on one of the most famous licences, it should sell like a certain activision franchise), or activion buys ND (Please don’t), we’ll never see a 007 game with a ND stamp.

Looks good, and the voice acting sounds good too. Judy Dench sounds good, im hoping John Cleese is in it!

Yeah, this looks good. I’m just annoyed that GoldenEye is only coming out on the Wii. Seems a bit stupid in my books, surely most of the people wanting to play this have moved on to 360s and PS3s by now.

It’s also coming to the PC, ported by High Moon (Transformers: War for Cybertron, Bourne Conspiracy)
