8PS3 Mafia II Pulls Ahead Of 360
262K Games has announced that on September 7th the newest DLC for Mafia II will be released – costing $9.99/800 Microsoft Points. Titled ‘Jimmy’s Vendetta’, the DLC will be comprised of 30 new quests and leaderboard rankings.
“Jimmy’s Vendetta takes players into an alternate perspective of the mob through the eyes of Jimmy, the guy the other guys call when they need to finish the job.
Players will get their hands dirty helping Jimmy clean up other people’s messes as they deal with the Italian and Irish mobsters that reside in Empire Bay.
As players progress, a slew of new quests are unlocked, including assassination and timed vehicle pursuits ending in dramatic shootouts and explosive car chases. Execute with deadly head shots or charged explosives, and rack up points for precision-timed vehicular power slides, lofty jumps, and supercharged velocity.
Multipliers and combos add bonus points to overall scores that will be immediately posted to the new online leaderboard system, providing extensive re-playability as players work to rise to the top of the ranks.”

Sounds good. Played the demo of mafia 2 and surprisingly enjoyed it. Thinking of getting it, may wait til it goes a little cheaper though, money’s kinda tight these days with a baby and all.

Good to see DLC up this quick, I havent tried out the DLC that came with the pre-order, but this is definetly going in my favorite gamelist

The dlc that came with the game, The Betrayal of Jimmy, is quite sweet. Think it leads up to Vendetta, although I’ve only played a wee bit of it, and is the same idea with pointage & multipliers.

Still playing the story on this game but should be finished shortly and will then move onto jimmys missions from their. Really enjoying this as well.

enjoyed what ive play of betrayal
mafia 2 main, gr8 game bar awful screen tearing(a/creed)
despite R* & other devs not having this, mafia2 visuals & story make u overlook tearing
buy it!
