MNR 1v1 Tournament: Round 1 Fixtures

8Roy’s benevolent reign of Modnation is at an end, and I’m taking over! Sadly, Real LifeTM got in the way, and Roy’s had to step aside, leaving me with a mandate to make rubbish jokes and carry on running this competition in his stead… Aren’t you all so lucky?
So, all the entries are in and accounted for, and we’ve ended up with 16 entrants to do battle in the first round. The draw for the competition is as follows:
- R1MJAW vs. Aquastyle (Aquastyle8)
- BrendanCalls vs. Rocket_345
- GamerJim (mc_slim_jim) vs. DrNate86
- topgearsam vs. Freezebug2
- Lewis815 vs. icuyesido
- Manorhowze vs. Daywalker (MET4L_D1RT)
- StonyK vs. YamsterSG (Youlikeyams)
- MadJunkBoy vs. slates16
(PSN IDs are in brackets where different from TSA IDs)
You will be doing race on the UFG created track “Rumble Jungle” this round. For quick reference, the rules to be used are: Best of 3 rounds, 5 laps per race, Action Race, Elite Speed, No AI. A more extensive list can be found in Roy’s original post.
Given that this is the first round, you will have until 11PM on Wednesday 15th September to race. Almost a full week to get your races done and results in. Once you’ve done your race, you need to email the results me at stefan@tsa2.org with the subject “MNR Results”. Also, get in touch ASAP if there are any problems.
If you’re feeling a little shy and want a crowded meeting place, a good spot might be the regular MNR meet every Sunday at 6PM.

who knows, I’m not known for my clairvoyant abilities :P This is just based on what I’ve seen from the meets. Mind you, 1v1 is a different kettle of salmon, as I demonstrated :D
And I’m not the best judge of Daywalker’s abilities. I spent most of our last race in front of him.

Thanks for the confidence booster there dude, 1v’1 is so different though as most of the meets I get hit into the wall at the start and have to recover…..strange but true, why me?. 1v1′s is a chance for me to race properly and not have 11 burly fellas ram me into the wall.

considering how far ahead you manage to get in the first few laps at the meets, 1v1 should be no problem for you :)
