LittleBigPlanet 2 Trophies Leak Out Of The Burlap

We’re assuming Media Molecule wanted to keep LittleBigPlanet’s Trophies under the sack for at least another month or three, but – presumably thanks to a preview build – they’ve been leaked.
With the game delayed until 2011 it’s even more frustrating to see that, speculating somewhat, the game is feature complete and it’s just tweaking and bug fixing that’s keeping Sackboy’s next adventures back until the new year.
The full Trophy List is in our Blu-ray Trophy Forum and can be read here, and whilst some of the Trophies are definitely similar to the first game’s it’s worth noting that Media Molecule really want you to play the game lots this time around:
- Who Needs Breakfast? ( Bronze Trophy)
Play LittleBigPlanet 2 before 9am - Just… One… More… Go… ( Bronze Trophy)
Play LittleBigPlanet 2 after 9pm - A Game A Day Keeps The Doctor Away ( Silver Trophy)
Play LittleBigPlanet 2 on every day of the week - 1440 Minutes of Create ( Gold Trophy)
Spend 24 active hours in Create mode
There’s also a smattering of hidden Trophies, which will hopefully remain secret until the game hits the shelves.

Just leave create mode running for a day, nobody says you have to actually create 24 hours worth of stuff. Plus, the time related ones are too easy by just changing the system clock. Poor effort these trophies. I seem to remember last time i changed the system clock for a trophy though, then changed back and synched, it caused some sort of internal system paradox that the PS3 just didn’t like at all.

Eh, some trophies are silly and if you can just leave your game on for 24 hours then why not do it?
If you’re a serious trophy hunter it’s almost impossible to not do cheesy things like that to get some trophies.
For instance if you want the platinum in Modnation Racers you’re going to have to basically download your own creations for points as there’s basically no way to get 250,000 create xp currently without cheating. :\

To be fair, I think I’ve been on the original LBP’s create mode for at least 24 hours with nothing to show for it, but that wasn’t trophy hunting, just a lack of creative talent!

for once, since it sez actively spend 24 hours in create mode, i may as well try to make a marvellous level, this time round media molecule are gunna get da best outta me, ONLY if itz easier to make levels in this game than lbp 1, coz i rememb how irritatingly long it waz and still iz in lbp 1 =O

Last time I made a LBP level, I easily spent 24 hours on it and that was one level, which I gave up on in the end!
With all the new stuff in 2, that should be an easy trophy

People are bound to cheat this using the system clock – hopefully it uses the internal clock instead somehow (the one that thought there was a leapyear in 2010) as that cannot be user altered. Still I’ll probably earn these naturally in the first week of launch (the create one will take longer but still doable).

yeah i can do the 24 hours in create no problem, and surely if i play lbp2 at like 2am wont i get the before 9am and after 9pm trophies together?

That’s a very good point. Surely any point in time is before and after a 9am/pm. I guess it has to be on the same date, so any time after midnight before 9AM or any time before midnight after 9PM.

yup, i agree, and yet i got a platinum after 2 months of hard work, and no stress, da bunker trophy out of surprise was easy to ace in the first go, but on my second go, i just couldnt ace it, lucky me =D

To be honest, while the 24 active creation hours is a good trophy, achieving exactly what trophies should be made for, the ‘play before 9am’ and ‘after 9pm’ ones are a bit stupid. They don’t reward you for doing anything clever, creative or difficult.

I really enjoyed the first one, but never really got the hang of the level-creation tool. Looking forward to this. Seriously, though – is it that inconceivable to be up before 9am? Shame on you, sleepy internet people!
