The original inFAMOUS game featured ‘comic book’ style cutscenes rather than using the in game engine – and it seems this graphical style will continue with the release of inFAMOUS 2.
The video below was shown to us at this year’s Eurogamer Expo, and is taken from very early within the game and is titled ‘Welcome To New Marais.’ You can also hear the voice of Nu-Cole which they seem to be keeping even though he now resembles Old-Cole rather than the tattooed studmuffin originally revealed.

I kept telling myself this as well… I finally cracked though and gave it a butchers. Glad I did really as its got my really excited for this game. I’m pleased they have stuck with the comic book style cutscenes, they gave the original game a lot of personality

It’s great, teflon. Style is spot on, they don’t give too much away. The cartoon/comic style is lovely as ever and the choice of language (including profanity) is just right. Not littered but used when the time is right.
