12The X-Men are awesome. This is an indisputable fact that I learned whilst at Professor Xavier’s School for Gifted Youngsters. If you want to try to dispute this fact it will only show that you never attended. Fools.
So, my heart filled with joy when IGN revealed a new X-Men game via their website and the little video we’ve embedded below. Aside from the publisher (Activision) and the Developer (Silicon Knights) not much else is known about the game. No platform, no character lists, no genre. All we know is that it’s got X-Men in it and it will be awesome (because it’s got X-Men in it). That’s enough for me right now.

Slightly patchy history in Silicon Knights but I’m pretty hopeful. Particularly since it no movie (not that I know of anyway) that it needs to coincide with.
The video all but confirms most key characters too so that’s good but the way it ends leads me to believe that you might possibly play a new character, one of your own creation perhaps?
Hmm, the more I think about it, the more interested I am. Looking forward to more details.

not to forget about xmen origins wolverine 2, deadpool movie, xmen 4 (eventually) and new mutants though xmen origins magneto has apparently been canned

Hopefully this be a good x-men title if it follows the wolverine game it should be half decent.

looks like you can either create your own character or choose from some presets, maybe even choosing your powerset, that would be cool.
just have to wait and see what the actual game is like.

From the trailer I’d guess you create your own character, choose your powers and decide whether to follow Xavier or Magneto. Just a guess anyway.
